SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS & SERVICES (INCLUDING LIVE ANIMALS)

Certain products and Services may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities. All sales are subject to our Refund Policy.

Live Animal Shipping Requirements

All live animals (including praying mantises and other invertebrates) are shipped FedEx Overnight with morning delivery only. This shipping method is mandatory to ensure animal safety. If an incorrect shipping method is selected, we reserve the right to invoice for the required upgrade or cancel the order at our discretion.

Temperature & Weather Restrictions

We do not ship live animals when temperatures are below freezing or above 85°F along any portion of the shipping route. Shipments may be delayed due to unsafe weather conditions. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept weather-related shipping delays.

FedEx Hub Hold Requirement

When temperatures fall below 60°F or exceed 80°F, orders may be shipped to your closest FedEx Ship Center/FedEx Hub to prevent exposure to extreme temperatures. Customers are responsible for timely pickup.

Customer Responsibility

Heart Leaf Tropicals / Mantis Nation is not responsible for loss or injury resulting from:

  • missed deliveries

  • failure to pick up held packages

  • packages left outdoors after delivery

  • incorrect shipping information

  • customer-requested reroutes or delivery changes

SECTION 6 – LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE, DOA & RETURNS

All Sales Final

Due to the nature of live plants and animals, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges are accepted.

Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)

To qualify for a Live Arrival Guarantee, customers must provide an uninterrupted unboxing video with a visible timestamp recorded within 1 hour of delivery. The video must clearly show the unopened box, opening process, and condition of the item upon arrival.

DOA Claims

In the rare event of a verified DOA, a replacement may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability. Replacements may be fulfilled as the same species, a comparable substitute, or store credit. Shipping costs may not be refundable.

SECTION 7 – BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion. You agree to provide accurate and current billing and account information and to update it promptly.

SECTION 8 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools “as is” without warranties or endorsements. Use is at your own risk.
