Blue bottle fly larvae (Lucilia sericata), also known as BBF spikes, are a high-protein, soft-bodied feeder perfect for praying mantises, reptiles, amphibians, and other insectivores. Their wiggling movement triggers an aggressive feeding response, making them an excellent live prey option.

Storage Instructions:

- Avoid excess moisture to prevent mold.
Feeding Instructions:
🐛 Live Larvae: Drop larvae directly into the enclosure or use tweezers for hand-feeding.
🦟 Pupate into Flies: Leave larvae at room temperature (75°F–80°F) for 3–7 days to pupate. Blue bottle flies are an excellent enrichment feeder for mantises, triggering natural hunting instincts.
