Beneficial nematodes are microscopic, naturally occurring organisms that seek out and eliminate soil-dwelling pests without harming people, pets, plants, earthworms, or other beneficial insects. For the best results, apply them when the soil is moist and temperatures are within their active range.

Directions for Use

  1. Prepare the Soil – Water the area before application so the soil is evenly moist. Dry soil will prevent nematodes from moving through the soil.
  2. Mix the Nematodes – Add the nematodes to clean 1 – 2 Gallons of water between 59°F and 69°F. The amount of water used is flexible and can be adjusted based on the size of the treatment area and the severity of the infestation.
  3. Apply Evenly – Use a watering can, pump sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or irrigation system to distribute the solution evenly over the treatment area.
  4. Water In – Immediately water the treated area to wash the nematodes into the soil where pests are located.
  5. Maintain Moisture – Keep the soil consistently moist for 2 weeks after application. Do not allow the soil to dry out but avoid excessive watering or standing water.

Best Application Conditions

  • Apply Indoors: Any time of year.
  • Apply Outdoors: Early morning, evening, or on cloudy days to protect nematodes from UV light.
  • Ideal Soil Temperature: 60°F–83°F
  • Active Temperature Range: 42°F–95°F

Tip: Beneficial nematodes are living organisms—not chemicals. Using more water will not reduce their effectiveness, if they are applied evenly throughout the treatment area.
