Flake Soil – Premium Beetle Substrate

Each bag contains approximately 1.2 gallons of flake soil. The level of fermentation affects which beetle larvae thrive best:

• Stag beetle larvae prefer less fermented flake soil.
• Rhino and flower beetle larvae do best in more fermented, decayed flake soil.
• Goliath beetle larvae can start on flake soil but need additional protein, such as koi pellets, as they grow.
