Goldfish Plant (Nematanthus gregarius) 3" Potted Plant

Nematanthus gregarius, commonly known as the Goldfish Plant, is a trailing tropical plant native to the cloud forests of Brazil. It gets its name from its unique, bright orange flowers that resemble tiny goldfish leaping from the plant’s stems. The blooms appear throughout the warmer months and contrast beautifully against its shiny, dark green, oval-shaped leaves, making it a favorite for hanging baskets, terrariums, and bright indoor spaces.

The Goldfish Plant thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers moderate to high humidity, with temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C). Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, and use a well-draining, airy potting mix. With proper care, it can bloom prolifically and trail up to 2 feet (60 cm) or more.
